CARE Medical Equipment was begun in February 1980, and has been renting and selling medical equipment to visitors and residents ever since. CARE has been a member of many different ''DME'' (Durable Medical Equipment) organizations over the years. Most of these organizations' emphasis has been on the home medical as opposed to the short-term visitor's needs.
We also repair equipment and have been called upon by airlines and WDW & Universal resorts and theme parks to repair hotel and guest owned equipment.
CARE provides equipment for a great many visitors from across the Atlantic. We also work closely with most of the Make-A-Wish Foundations in this country and overseas, as well as Dreams Come True, ChildFlight and many other ''wish'' organizations, for both adults and children.
These are in addition to the hundreds of travel agents here and abroad, management companies (rental homes and condos), tour operators and conventions (including the largest in our area, PGA and Avon) with which we work closely.
CARE Medical Equipment is a member of the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Florida USA and GO Florida. We are proud to say that we celebrated our 35th year anniversary in February 2015.
